Interesting...

I get what you're saying... but the whole "Christmas is nothing but a commercialization designed to sell products" is a really old and tiring statement.

We all know it, we don't need more people thinking they are being though provoking by creating art that restates the obvious.

The surreal approach is cool, but I don't think it was properly handled with this movie. The imagery was very obvious, nazi flags associated with santa. But the only thing that was surreal were the drawings.

The problem with that is its very easy to say that this was a lazy animated cartoon. Usually surreal means that you would have to find things other than obvious symbols (the nazi flag) to get your point across.

I hope my constructive criticism helps you in the future.
